Air cooling is great for a mild overclock and really near silent while I was playing BF4. The cooler is very good up to 1.2V and around 1200MHz on my cards.

I bought some EK Universal blocks and a hard bridge or "link" but ended up hitting a snag since the blocks don't extend past the edge of the card.

Also had to remove the card stiffener plate since it obstructs one of the ports on the block.

I have some 45 degree fittings coming so it will be couple of days before the watercooling tests can begin.

So Asus still hasn't come out with an official release date for these yet? I know they have "launched" it already but why is it seemingly taking so long for these cards to hit stores?

Yes, I'm impatient!

Won't a couple of extenders help connect the bridge to the block?

Glad.Asus sent you some gun, any ln2 testing yet or just air/water for now? Subbing to see results later, always been a fan of matrix cards.

I've ordered some 45 degree fittings to get me over the edge of the card, I'll just connect them with tubing from there, that will get done what needs to be done, then its on to LN2.

What are you expecting will happen if you flash the Matrix bios to your dcu2? It won't automatically make it overclock better or enable overvolting, if anything it will stop your card from being recognized by Windows (likely scenario) or bjork it permanently losing your card warranty as well in the meantime (worst case scenario)
