The ASUS GTX580 Matrix has 4 bridges for controlling OCP, memory and core voltage and power PWM frequency. I've only come across pictures of users shorting the "Disable OCP" and PWM bridges but not the memory or core voltage bridges. I somehow don't think it would be safe to short those bridges either, some sort of resistance is probably needed? I haven't been able to find much information on this. Any ideas on what needs to be done to increase the core voltage?

I primarily use nvidiaInspector for overclocking. If voltage is increased through the hardware, would the increased voltage range be accessible afterwards in the software? If not, would an updated video BIOS be required?
