I'm not familiar with the AMD side of the house but I'm going to venture out and build a AMD box.

I bought the ASUS M2N-LR AM2 NVIDIA nForce Professional 3600 ATX Server Motherboard from a newegg deal last week in a combo deal but my AMD processor got canceled so I'm left with just the motherboard. Yesterday I bought the AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz & 640GB HD combo deal on newegg.

So my question is, can I run the 7750 AM2+ on this motherboard?
I'm not sure what the difference between AM2 and AM2+.

I think this board only supports AM2 cpu's. The 7750 is AM2+

Once I looked at the BIOS history on ASUS's website it looks like it supports all AM2+ cpu's.
