ASUS M2N68-CM BIOS Flash Failed

Flashed BIOS using the latest from ASUS website.

Used ASUS EZFLASH 2 (built in to the MoBo) to flash the BIOS.

Flash completed/finished then Rebooted.

System will no longer POST and there is no Video output.

Have tried 2 different graphics cards and on-board.

Tried CMOS battery removal. Tried jumper reset.

Tried to apply for RMA but ASUS online form is BROKEN! Filled out the form 4 times and there is a javascript error when the send button is clicked which then redirects you to fill the form again!

P!SSED!

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Anyone know how to get the asus crashfree working?

You can either use the MB cd(original bios) or a usb drive(formatted to fat32).(latest bios)

Instructions below.

Good luck

Hiya Gyro thanks for the reply

Is the instructions you posted for ASUS Crashfree?

I have no response on monitor so therefore cannot see if the system is doing what the instructions you posted say the system should be doing.

Have tried all types of CMOS reset. Have tried to reset the Board to factory defaults (Boot up with no CPU socketed)

Have just tried to get CMOS beeps with no RAM DIMMs installed and there were no beeps.

I think I am SOL......

Yes this is for Asus crashfree
It should be an automatic recovery, with no input from you.You may not be able to see anything till it has recovered and rebooted.
The usb option is your best bet.

Ok Thanks will try that now.

EDIT: Have just plugged the pen drive in and booted the system up. Will wait and see what happens.
Well I've tried the USB key and it hasn't worked..... system had sat running for the best part of 30 mins.

Have even pulled and re-seated the chip but still no luck.

Looks like I have a new doorstop until I get a new BIOS chip, The board RMA'd or My new processor.....

HOPEFULLY I get this board RMA'd and HOPEFULLY I get my new processor this week. Then all I need to do is set up my new sig rig and set this (Current sig rig) back up with the RMA board in it lol

In the mean time I have an older AsRock board sitting in an old tower which will suffice for my sig rig..... even though I have to clean the board and re-mount my H50..

Thanks for the help anyway Gyro, If you have any other suggestions feel free to fire away, Ill try them anyway lol

AsRock board doesn't support AM2+ Processors..... Need to wait for ASUS to get back to me for RMA on board.
