1. you change your voltage in the BIOS under Jumperfree configuration I believe.
2. x8 is more then enough for a 580. Will look into to that.
3. My default your RAM clocks are as low as possible. For DDR3 it's 1333mhz and CL9. If you mean by CPU-Z, it doesn't show the 1333mhz clock, it says something like 600 I think, but that isn't your actual clock speed. It should be the top left corner under the memory tab (CPU-Z) for correct speed.

EDIT: You have other cards in your expansion slots? Couple pics of CPU-Z would really help.

i only have an HD5850, and either way i paid for x16 so i want x16 isnt there somthing i have to do to make it go in x16?
Im not talking bout CPU-z i mean in the BIOS if i try to overclock the RAM it has weird speeds like 1500 1300 900 1800, i was hoping it would be like 1066 1333 1600 1866 2000 2133 and some in the middle, no other cards plugged in but my HD5850

That's weird. By default it should be x16. I'm stumped, sorry. There is a menu in the BIOS for changing that, but I forgot what it's called. Also, once again, by default it should be x16. Were did you see x8 again?

Did you change your base clock? My mobo goes like 1333-1600-1800, and with my 1055t @ 3.7 ghz it goes like 1512-17xx-19xx.

Cpu clock: [Base clock x CPU multiplier]= CPU frequency
Memory: [Base clock x Memory mulitiplier]= RAM speed.

My base clock is like 286 mhz or something.

no i didnt change anything, im a veteran intel overclocker, but on these AMD boards its different. I guess ill have to fiddle with it, and i see x8 in CPU-z and GPU-z

I think CPU voltage is CPU voltage offset, and i still have no idea about my x8 bandwidth....anyone have any ideas? My step dad haas the same board and its the same thing so its obviously the board.
