Sometime When i do this on some of my customers systems. When i put the batt back in i turn the system on without any memory just so it posts and gives me and error beep (for no memory) then i put the memory back in and the system posts fine. once the system posts and goes into windows i recomend running Memtest to ensure there are no memory issues
