I am preparing to crossflash the my Asus P6T to any bios from the P6T series that supports the High TDP setting. (as seen here http://linas.16mb.com/asus-p6t-deluxe-crossflash-to-asus-p6t-ws-pro/)

I've recently bought an Intel Xeon 5670, which I've overclocked to 4.2Ghz and when my system is under full load, the multiplier drops. I've turned off everything that should enable a dynamic multiplier, but it is still droping. For an explaination, see the link above.

In that blog post they are reflashing an Asus P6T Deluxe to an Asus P6T WS Pro bios.
And citing the following:
Please note the following steps not only do apply to the P6T Deluxe motherboard, but to P6T, P6T SE and P6T Deluxe V2 motherboards as well.
I am wondering which bios I should flash and further more, how I can recover from a broken bios. I've found something here (https://tomvanveen.eu/flashing-bios-chip-arduino/) that looks very promising.

If you could help me out, that would help me alot!

Thanks

Looking to reflash a P6T SE to a better bios - hopefully the P6X58 premiun.

Did you have any success?
