Hello, I read that the P6T suffer from cold boot issue, that sometimes when you remove the power cord, next time you power on, nothing will appear on screen and you have to reset to get output. Also sometimes when restarting from windows, nothing will appear on screen. Do you guys suffer from this problem? I heard even the deluxe has the same problem.

Never happened to me. Then again I might have pulled the power cord twice in the last year.

When I restart from Windows, it won't recognize my HDDs. Which makes it just freeze until I reset it.

Also have an issue where after an OC fails or something it will try to boot off my external HDD. So I have to reset then fix it through the BIOS.

Haven't bothered flashing the BIOS to fix it so it might be solved doing so.
Nope.

I turn mine off every night and have unplugged/drained power many times.
I think that Happend to me once on my Deluxe non V2

I remember pressing the button and going having a small Panic Attack haha

Though I have never physically noticed this ever again since that day
Never happened to me either, I turn my computer off every night. I dont have the latest BIOS
Flash your BIOS... I'm %99 sure your problem will disappear.

good luck

^ I Agree

Mobo: P6T Deluxe V2.
Running the 0504 Bios version.
Also, I have not had any issues with cold boots.

Now that's a totally different question. I think you would have done better if you had asked this at first.

What do you want from a motherboard? What are you going to be doing with the computer?

Mine actually did the same thing as yours and I couldn't find any info about it at all on the net, I upgraded the bios and I haven't had any problems since then that i can recall.
I've plugged and unplugged my P6T Deluxe V2 more time than I care to count (changing fans, cleaning, installing new parts, changing my cables layout, obsessive compulsive disorder and etc...) and have never had any such problems. Never failed me in any way.

Now, thats a different question indeed.

To put it pragmatically, it depends on what are your needs, dude.
As a satisfied owner of the P6T Deluxe V2, I would say: hell yeah!

Easy overclocker. Everything works fine, and even the onboard sound is good but, as all onboards, just don't cut it.

You can find hundreds of detailed reviews on it, as you know, and they're all good (as far as I know).
