For some reason I can't get my P6X58D-E to post with just 1 stick of RAM installed. It only posts if all 24GB is installed, and I have no idea why.

I turned off the power when I was taking them in/pulling them out. I even took out the CMOS battery while doing it. What should I do?

The 1 stick is in the black DIMM slot closest to the CPU.

By the way the system was already working fine, however I'm running some tests right now and everything is NOT ok as I don't know why it's not posting with just 1 DIMM. And when all are installed, ALL are recognized as well.

Nevermind. I feel stupid. Who wouldn't thought that the blue channels are the ones to use when using only 1, 2, or 3 DIMMs. Sorry lol.
