Hello!

Last time I build a PC was around 5 years ago so I decide to give it a shoot again.

Here is my Setup:
LIAN LI PC-A71F Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower
Asus P8P67 PRO
2600K i7 Processor 3.4GHZ
H70 Cooling
MSI N460GTX Hawk GeForce GTX 460 ...
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) ...
Corsair HX Series 850 Watt ATX 12 V Modular

Problems:

My #1 Problem is that when I turn it on, the monitors show the Bios Info and then it shuts down after 5 seconds...It starts to turn on again and then shutsdown and finally turns on and boots

If I disconnect the power in the video card, it doesnt shoots down

Problem #2: The bios info screen stays there along time! like a minute...how can I get a fast boot?

Problem #3: I try to overclock by the "Performace" Feature and it gave me like 3.5 only, not more...in thebox it saids 3.8?????

Problem #4: Do I need to apply the thermal grease on the H70? I didnt put it... By the way the fans is LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Is your MEM OK light blinking at this time? I have found these boards to be finiky with memory (I've built 2 so far). I would suggest going into the BIOS/Advance and setting your memory up manually. Then save and reboot.

2. See if #1 also resolves #2. If not, disable the Marvell controller (as long as you boot drive is not using it) to see if it increase detection time.

3. Don't use the autotune OC feature...it's poopy. Refer to many guides available and do it manually.

4. Your H70 should have come from Corsair with thermal grease already applied. If it did, you should not need to add any more. If it didn't or you have taken it off and reinstalled it, then you will need to add more.

Hope this helps.

No, but that OC tuner feature is a really terrible way to OC - it almost always sets voltages way too high and increases bclk for some reason.

Pretty sure almost everyone on this forum would agree it ain't great.

If so, I never figured out why, but I turned off the marvell controller, splash screen, etc.

Thanks for your response,

Yes is very similar to that... If I turn on the computer it shuts down like 2 times first....

If I restart its do what you show in the video...

Do you think it may be a Video Card problem? Sometimes it BEEPS! and I'm not even using it for gaming..

By the way how do I disable that Marvell COntroller, Splash Screen?
