Im getting ready to make a purchase on Tuesday, either a i7-980x or a Xeon w3680. I know asus has released a bios update for the Rampage 2 Extreme to support 32nm chips, but there is no comprehensive list showing if this includes the w3680.

Does anybody out there know if the R2E supports (and allows overclocking on) the Xeon w3680?

Thanks in Advance!

Well

From what i've read overclocking it can be hard as some of the features aren't available in the bios, if you using it and not planning on OC'ing it then you shouldn't have a problem.

This is just from what i've read though.
