Hey folks. I bought my build for 1.5years ago or summit. I played around with some small oc`ing and everything went fine.. Then i updated my bios to ver 0308 and after that i never got any oc to work, so i didnt bother much and have used it stock for around a year.. Now ive been playing around on COD:MW2 and exp some small problems around that and wanted to try and oc this system a little to see if that helps.. Ive tried to find some easy setups, to what to set in the bios, but it will never boot and if it does it sais that the oc failed press f1 to go in to bios or f2 to set to default and boot (or summit like that) I thought that maby the bios verson i have is bad and wanted to try and flash to a newer one.. Ive gotten the 0803 verson, but i cant seemn to find the EZ Flash 2 program ive red so much nice about. And that freakin Asus site newer work! I get errors, it wont load right, half the page loads and after the hundred and fifth time i finally got the bios file down, but cant find the flash tool.. Anyone of you guys able to help me with a linky, and maby a though/"try this setup" thing in bios to get it OC`d with current bios ver?

Make sure the USB drive is FAT formatted, then copy the 803 bios (unzipped to it). Then go into the bios, system tools, and E-Z Flash. From there, access the USB drive with the 803 bios and update.

if that doesnt work, try this:

Flashing your Rampage Formula using AFUDOS

Quote:
1. First download the USB Boot drive creator "HPUSBFW"
2. Then download the boot files and extract them to a folder of your choice

3. Run the HPUSBFW program.

Select the correct USB device from the drop-down menu, set file system to FAT32 and check Create a DOS startup disk.

4. Then browse for the extracted boot files (now in the folder of your choice) and press start to begin formating it.

5. Once the device is done, Copy AFUDOS (note that this is the engineering version and must be used) and the latest bios you want to crossflash, and unzip it to the USB drive. Then rename the bios to new.rom

6. You will then restart and go into bios to load default bios options. Then set the ram voltage and reboot (plug in the USB drive into the back USB port at this time). Then, while the PC is booting up, press F8 to enter the boot option. Select the USB drive.

7. At the C: type afudos /inew.rom /pbnc /n

8. The bios will then begin flashing. Dont do anything until the bios is finished flashing and you are instructed to reboot.

9. Finally, shut down and CLR CMOS.

There is a lot of info about your board in this thread:

There are a lot of great posts by so many Rampage Formula (or those using the RF 803 bios) users!
