I am going to buy a 34" IPS 3440 * 1440 21:9 curved monitor with Gsync and sRGB @ 99% to 100% with a OSD that I can use to manually adjust color and turn off the speakers. All also have vesa mounting.

The three below monitors all have what I want and I would like to know of these three which one would you pick and why.

Asus ROG PG348Q

Acer Predator X34

X34 is nice but cost too much. Best bet is getting one of those cheaper 34 inch ips ones. X34 is over a yea old and is about the same price.

Alienware just came out so I'd get that. 120hz overclocked too. 1900R so more curvature than Asus' 3900R. Acer looks to be using VA which hurts image quality off an angle. Customer service and build quality should be better but obviously expensive

The Acer X34 is IPS. It's using the same panel as the Asus.

Still, though, I'd get the Alienware, just because it's well reviewed and more recent. Plus, the curve should help more with IPS glow.

They don't have 1440p with over 100hz yet?
I would wait for 144hz or at least 120hz standard, none of that "overclocked" crap

Thanks for the responses everybody.

I was thinking the Alienware also and seems to be the one that I will go with.

My experience with the x34 and pg348q is you could see scan lines once overclocked.. Those panels have to be overclocked/overdrive to reach 100hz.. The alienware is native 100hz and can be overclocked to 120hz.. My only concern is the curvier 1900R screen. I ordered an alienware, I'll just have to see how the curve works out for me. Oh.. Dell warranty is great!

Only difference in the x34 and the Asus is the stand lol. I got the Pg348q but hated the stand so I ended up putting it on a wall mount. Haven’t seen the Alienware.

Did you already buy Alienware? I am looking at the exact same monitors and especially since Acer and Dell are on sale ($999) it makes it even more attractive.

Now my only thing between Acer and Dell models was contrast ratio (much higher on x34). How does it feel on dell model?

I am not sure if it is worth waiting till 2nd q of next year, for these "new gen monitors". More details here: https://www.144hzmonitors.com/reviews/asus-rog-swift-pg35vq-acer-predator-x35/

Please let me know what do you think.
