Ok guys, I was trying to hook this router up to a DSL modem... since the modem was not in bridge mode... I bricked the router and I had to restore it..... Does anyone know the default user and password for this router?

That isn't going to 'brick' the router...
Also, the definition of brick would require you to perform JTAG recovery on the device.

In short, RTFM.
I think the Asus one is admin/admin.

Try sticking your tong into the Ethernet ports and plugging the cables back in. I can't tell you how many time's that's worked for me.

If that dosen't work (which it should) you can try this site.. Default Router Passwords

Maybe I got that backwards.. I don't know..
