I just got an Asus Sabertooth P67 and i5 2500k for Christmas. Unfortunately my RAM, 8GB. Corsair Vengeance 1600, is not on the qualified vendors list and seems to be preventing my system from posting. When I turn the power on the red DRAM led remains on. I have tried using the memOK! button as well with no result.

I have seen numerous people run this ram with this mobo and have no issue at all.

Does anyone have an other suggestions or insights to my issue?

Its a real bummer to get a new system and not have it work correctly.

Thanks

Each stick of RAM works. I tested each separately but it only works in the B socket. If I put any stick into A it does not post. I am beginning to think that the motherboard is to blame and that I need to RMA it back to ASUS. Though I did order some new RAm that was on the Qualified Vendors list to see if that will help.

I just built a similar system. Asus Sabertooth P67 w/ i5 2500k, CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 and some other goodies. When you are running just 2 sticks under dual channel, you want to install them in only the olive color slots(if i remember right). By default, the board will only boot in those 2 slots unless you have 4 sticks running. I hope this helps. Let me know if it doesn't.

I am building a new computer with the same motherboard but I am using (4x4GB) 16 GB gskill and unfortunately it is not on the QVL either and I got the same issue... not booting with the DRAM LED light. Using the MEMOK but only made it cycle on and off but still nothing. I finally got the light to go away installing only one stick in the A2 slot but it still will not boot. I didn't have a system speaker so I don't know what kind of beeps it is making so I will buy one today and see what is the problem now. Good luck let us know what you find out, thanks.
