Ok so about 2 weeks ago i bough the asus sabertooth and the intel i7 2600k (FIRST INTEL BTW) and i noticed the when i press the power button my computer powers up and then shuts down and powers up again and runs normal again. Is that something normal for the motherboard? or cpu issue? after it boots up i never experience any type of issues everything is normal its only when i boot up.

Could possibly be a Mobo issue, RAM issue, power issue. Anyhow, would be nice if you could fill out your specs in User CP. Would make it easer for us to search for the issue!

How far in the boot up does it get before restarting? Does it start to load in Windows?

Try booting with the MemOK button and see if it does that... Also try updating to the latest BIOS.

Btw what u mean by power issue and ram issue? the ram and psu were used on my AMD build and worked great... so my guess might be the MOBO.
