I was just wondering, which brand for video cards was better or does it not matter? There's an EA in front of the X1950PRO for the Asus card, does that mean something? If the Sapphire is better, is it worth the extra 35 dollars? Thanks any help would be appreciated.

ASUS EAX1950PRO/HTDP/256M GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail $164.99

SAPPHIRE 100176L Radeon X1950PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFire Video Card - Retail $199.99

My only experience was a DOA Sapphire. Never used ASUS GPU's.

My Sapphire has been running great since I bought it. Very good investment. ASUS makes great mobos, but I haven't heard much of anything about their video cards.

Go sapphire. I have an asus and while it's ok, its not amazing. My last card from them I had to RMA.

Both my Sapphire cards, X300se and X1900XT, have overclocked like beasts. The X300se overclocked over 60% on it's core and memory, and the X1900XT I have now gets about 20% on the core and memory. The Sapphire you posted on here is also a single slot, whereas the ASUS has a dual slot heatsink and fan. The Sapphire also comes with a Crossfire 'bridge'.

The price difference is because the Asus one doesn't support native crossfire (it needs a mastercard) and the others don't. So I would definatly go for the Sapphire, or the Powercolor 512mb version.
