We took a first look at the Xonar about 2 weeks back and finally, we've recieved the physicall card today! Pictures first, words later. We will sum up the tests for you guys really soon...
It looks to be a very impressive card. My only worry is general game compatibility. Creative cards have always been pretty well supported. Thus why I have gone Creative most of the time.
Looks great. I would get it just for the looks, specifically the color lighting. First time I've seem that case/cover looking piece as if it was a stock GPU cooler.
That card looks great. Love the light up audio jacks. Pretty useful when you're under a dark desk! I hope its good audio quality though, especially with the PCI-E version.

Since when has your woman swapped audio cables under your desk?
Yeah a PCI-e 1x slot version would be nice... And hopefully with the drivers installed you can turn those LEDs off... Hehe, or I'll just have to get out the electrical tape (or find a sound system that uses them all).

I'm not a big fan of multi-colored LEDs but thats beautiful..
Agreed. My x-fi is bad eough but with my 2zs, it doesn't even have the faded, colored plastic strips. I can barely see what I'm doing back there sometimes.

So you are saying sometimes you can? Because I don't think I have ever been able to get mine in the right slots without lots of frustration. Lighted holes is like a dream come true

lol, I've gotten lucky. Once in a while I still break out that fold-out getting you started quickly guide. Then I can reach back and count the holes from the left or right but there is still no guarantee that I'll get them in correctly.
