Athlon64 X2 4000+ OC Wont past 2.7ghz, why?

Hello, I have a Athlon64 X2 4000+ Brisbane 2.1 stock, I have overclocked this baby from 2.1 to 2.7ghz with no problems, but it semms that the processor wont go up than 2.7ghz, I trying to get it to 3.0ghz, I dont know why it wont past form 2.7ghz, all my setting are ok HT 3X my memory frequency is ok, no other frequencies is hitting a unstable range, just simple its like he wont past 2.7ghz, I have a good cooling asus for the cpu so I dont know, at 2.7ghz the system is very stable but I want more!!!!, I have a Asus M2N-Sli Deluxe motherboard, 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2800 5-5-5-18 2T, please any help?

well you do need to give it more voltage if you want more overclock
up the vcore a few notches
I tried already to raise voltage on vcore, I raised it up to 1.3v and even this CPU is a 65nm so it doesnt need to much voltage to oc, all the setting are fine I raised the voltage and nothing my settings are:

FSB 260
CPU Multiplier 10.5x
HT 3x
Memory frequency- 667 DDR2
vCORE - 1.3V

my temps are ok, 38º idle and 47º full load, im usingf a big asus cooler with pipes

You still have some headroom with your voltage
Your RAM might hold you back a bit though
