Apparently, its ATI CrossFire "Certified" RAM.. ***?

There is <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145043" target="_blank">SLI certified</a> RAM, just another gimmick I suppose.

As for the SLI ram, it kinda has a point. If you have an AMD mobo with the 590 chipset you can auto overclock the ram to it's highest stable limits from in windows. At least that's what I read in Maximum PC.

I happen to have ram that is so called "SLi-Ready". It's a pretty awful marketing gimmick. It is supposed to auto "overclock" your PC but all that I see it really does is screw up your OC if you have it enabled. Basically activating sets the ram to run at what its rated at, using the overclock option did absolutely nothing for me. Love the results I got from the ram, but as for EPP, or SLi-ready, or Crossfire ready RAM, its all load of marketing crap.
