my board is capable of crossfire, so i have been thinking about going crossfire to get the full use of the mobo.

i am not looking for top performance, just something i can play a few games at top setting without problem.

i m thinking about these two setup

2 4830
2 4670

will these 2 cards outperform my gts 250? will i score higher in 3dmark06?

If you can, look into two 4770s, though they're hard to find. You can get much more performance for $220.

Not with the 4670s, but the 4830s can hit 20k if only barely.

i wona keep this crossfire budget under 150 + able to beat the gts, is that possible?

4850 is only 10 bucks more than the 4830, so either 2 4670 or 2 4850

Actually, two 4670's do beat a GTS250, but only by a small margin.

The 2x4770 would be the way to go, though it may take you awhile to get them.
