Ati Crossfire need help

Its my first time messing with xfire.Maybe its a dumb question but is there any way to crossfire a 4870 with a 5770?

I think they have to be the same series card. Correct me if I am wrong

They need to be the same GPU.

For example, you can crossfire about any of the 4800 series with one another. a 4870 and a 5770 however I dont think could crossfire.

Think of it this way; do they use the same driver? nope.
