i just bought a 5870 from xfx and i had to rma the beast so im back with my 5830 crossfire the reason i rmad it because the fans were not spinning and the heat sink wasnt even screwed on my first xfx card was a 5770 worked fine upgraded and i wanted to get a 5870 and the whole thing wasnt finished i hooked it up this was before i noticed it was loose i hooked it up and went to over clock this bad boy and temps are hitting 100c+ the fans were not even spinning ive never had to rma a card i may just go to to the dang store my self and get my cash back because this is stupied please comment and let me know if anyone else has had this happen to

update got text from my freind and after he heard my prob with xfx he told me to just get 2 more MSI's so maybe ill be running daul 5870s OCED >

If you bought it from a brick and mortar store, just take it back and get a refund. Sounds like it was an RMA'd card to begin with.

back total time gone 1hour and 12 mins took 20mins to get there and back and rest of the time on the rig and lets just say overclock i could go a lot higher LOL its at 952/1468 BIG BIG thumbs up for me

i can tell a big big differnce now its like more boost of boot speed and gta iv i was getting 67-72fps now im hitting 90+ fps so yeppers
