You need to use RadLinker, install that and right click on the desktop, go to RadLinker, and click "set" and "use current" it will give you confirmation notices to tell you it did it.

Do what you did, but this time use coolbits (download it, if you haven't already) to save those clock settings. Coolbits doesn't need to pass the test because you are already running at those clockspeeds (using ATI Tool). All you have to do is uncheck and then recheck apply fan at startup and then click on "apply" to keep your clocks permanent.

Use Riva Tuner for a nVidia card. It will allow to save OC's.
So you want me to do the oc in ATI tool and then just save it with coolbits right? Can you save it in ATI tool?
Also is there a way to find out what OC you had before you turned off your computer because I am pissed as hell.
No way to look up the OC you had before no, sorry. But i'm telling you, if you want to OC and save it, adjust fan speeds, monitor hardware all with one app, get the latest Rivatuner.
NO, is there a way to save it in ATI Tool?

Create a new profile at the top of the first screen after applying the clock changes. Then go through settings and startup and set that profile to boot with and get ATITool to run on startup. You can even get ATITool to close itself down after applying the clock changes as well.
Also, if you look in the ATITool log file you'll find the settings you lost. Just go through My Computer and locate the file that way.

btw, why are you using ATItool for an Nvidia card, why not use coolbits?

Because the ATI tool allows you to push the OC even higher then Riva Tuner or coolbits would allow you to

If you want to use ATI tool to save an overclock and load it at the start, do this.

1. Open ATItool
2. Click 'New'
3. Name profile what you want it to be.
4. Set the clock sliders where you want them to be
5. Hit 'Set clock'.
6. Hit 'Save'
7. Hit the 'Settings' button
8. On the drop down menu, scroll down to 'startup'
9. On the first drop down menu on this tab, select what profile you want to use when windows boots. it is set to default, but you can change it to the new profile you just created.
10. Done!

why the hell should he use one of those noob programs? ATI Tool is the ultimate overclocking program, ya can push it as far as you want to (almost
), much simpler, and YES you can adjust fan speeds in ATItool, in a much better way than rivatuner

You can push as far as you want in Riva Tuner also. Just take the time to learn the advanced panel and disable the OC test and bang. You can set frequencies as high as you want. Noob tool. LOL, perhaps for those who don't take the time to learn the software
