ATI Tool + Vista x64 + GTX 260?

Hi guys,

I'm using OCCT to test out my stable overclocks on my GTX 260 core 216 (65nm).

So far I've hit 675/1482/1125 stably for about 5 hours.

I was just wondering if any of you have been able to use ATI Tool with Vista x64 and the GTX 260... I tried a while back and it wouldn't work at all...

rep+ for all help

Yeah, I figured as much, since it absolutely wouldn't work last time I tried it.

I will stick to OCCT v3.0.1 then

I've used with 260, 280 and my 295.

I've tried 0.27b as well, but I'll try it again.

Thanks grunion

edit: oh wow it works..

It works fine for me in Vista x64 with my 260, you need the beta 3 version, i've still seen people have problems with it though.

ATITool 0.27

EDIT: Beaten to it
with a newer beta too! I didn't even know there was a beta 4

Thanks guys, I tried the 0.27 before and it didn't work but now I guess b4 does

Just doesn't show shader (I'm not sure it ever did?)

Nope never shows shader

Don't use it for overclocking anyway, just scanning for artifacts...

yeah I always just used it for artifacts.

OCCT v3.0.1 works well too.

I just wanted a "backup" program, if you know what I mean.

Nice clocks on your 55nm... now I know why people like them so much

I've never used OCCT for stressing a GPU, I should give it a try sometime.

I usualy just use ATITool, FurMark and 3DMark06/Vantage.

Those are just my folding clocks btw, i'm sure with any prolonged gaming I would soon crash

lol, yeah me too. It gives you a good idea of what your max temps may be gaming though, since ATItool doesn't really produce much heat

wrong...it works perfectly for me. I run my clocks at 720/1440/1107 and I found my max overclock using ATI Tool to scan for artifacts and windows vista sp1 (32bit).

If I up any of my current settings to the next strap it will produce artifacts in ATI Tool, and it will crash OCCT GPU Test, and Furmark after a certain period of time, while as my stable clocks found with ATI Tool work perfectly and no crashes to date in any benchmark programs, nor gaming.

ATI Tool worsk fine for my 8800GS. It won't display clocks or allow clock adjustments but I can stress test. Same goes for ATI cards as well.
