did you clear out your old drivers before installing new ones? also try to roll back your drivers and reboot see if problem is still there.
click cancel, and then should still open? sometimes happens for me...
it opens but i cant access any settings and says something about my display drivers for my GPU
done!

im going to try this

Turn off Digital Driver Signing Check in Vista:

1. Create a shortcut on the desktop to cmd.exe
(this recipe explains how to create a shortcut if you don't know how)

2. Right-click on the shortcut and select Run as administrator

3. When the command window opens, type or paste the following and press ENTER:

Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON

4. Reboot and then try installing the driver.

found it on some web site!

Download ATI Tool 0.27 beta4.

The stable, 0.26 version does not play nicely with Vista (especially 64bit)
