ATI Tray Tools crashing L4d

After I installed Ati tray tools, my Left 4 Dead online mode has been crashing (screen turns black and back on and black again).
Before that when I was using CCC 9.2, everything was fine. Is anyone experiencing the same problem as me or is there any other problems that caused the crashing?

Sounds like an unstable OC to me. See if it still does it at stock clocks with Ati Tray Tools opened.

It still crashes when i put it at clock speeds 625/1100 MHz.
The only time it didnt crash was when the clocks were at 500/750, which was the 2D mode. Any suggestions of what is causing those blackouts? Thanks.
I have a HD 4850 1GB card btw.

Are you forcing any profiles with ATITrayTools? Sometimes even using AA with ATT can cause problems with the driver.

Nope, I was using stock clocks and only used the fan control settings. The part of ATT i loved the most


edit: on a side note, does rivatuner have the same kind of fan control tweaking like ATT's one?
the one which you can fill in yourself.
