For some reason the find max core and find max mem features have never worked properly, they always end up making my PC freeze. It doesn't detect the artifacts so it just keeps pushing the mhz until it becomes unstable and locks up.

WHY!?!?!?!?!?!

HELP ME!!!..........please

Doesnt work for me to. Never did actually
When OCing your card, keep an eye on your temps and keep an eye on the 3dview. If you see any artifacts stop the program and put your clocks down 5mhz. Then use the heat up tool to check if any artifacts appear. You can increase the clocks again 1Mhz at a time so that youll really get your maximum artifact free OC, but I would stay safe than really pushing your card. A 4mhz increase isnt really noticable anyway.

This way youll have a safe OC and the chances that you wreck your card are very slim

I suggest slowly raising your core and memory clocks in 1-2mhz, and then checking the 3D view and watching the temps. Once you start to get errors, lower your clocks and scan for artifacts. Don't use the Find Max options, they let the card heat up to quickly and that is what makes it shut down. You need to adjust your clock speeds and fan speed manually for a better oc
