Well is it possible that we could allow the opposite dimensions of 1024x768....
as in 768x1024 they are the same size but its not permitted...

alot of us computer people in this here forum have to post pictures sideways so that the puter will fit...

or i reckon we could just shrink the image and loose picture quality..

I had an uncle named lando he tried to cool his puter with beer...J/k

Ok... I am blind I guess. I see the setting set at "1024 wide and 768 high". You see the opposite!? Can you please tell me step by step what you are doing and what you are seeing?

this is what im trying to do...
last time i checked OC.net would only accept
1024x768 or smaller attached images
thats a good size, but i wish that i could also have the other direction
1024x768 = 4:3 ratio
768x1024 = 3:4 ratio

both file are the same size but one is taller...
this might have lost you
heres step by step what i am doing
reply to a thread...

fill out your text
scroll to manage attachments, then click it
hit browse find an image that is 768x1024
then click upload
then it comes back with
"File Too Large. Limits are 1024 x 768. Your file is 768 x 1024."

does this make any sense???

I think the size should be set to 1280x1024 then there will be no more problems

if people have issues with the waiting for pictures to load that size then you could just put a warning saying "this picture may take 1-3minutes to load on dialup" or something like that, i'm no quote maker but you get the drift (i'm pretty sure theres no such thing as a quote maker but it'll do)
