I was as a HiFi meet earlier this week, and found they to be the most comfortable pair of headphones there. They are great for long listens and has a decent sound stage. Thou they do lack the bass which can be a good thing or a bad think depending on user.

I personally like them better then the Senn-555 that I tried.

Oh I think the pair I tried had custom valour ear pads,too. XD

these are better than using speakers for gaming...I can hear where my enemies are(l4d-crysis)

poh, got any comparison to the a700's? (closed model)?

these have been on amazon for 65$ for about 2 weeks..i just spend 90$ for them because i don't feel like getting a crap broken pair

It shouldnt be a big deal as long as your the only person in the room. Gamers rather the open ad700(just like the senn hd555 <which I dont have or am curious of having>) because it gives a 3D effect you probably wont get in a700..But no I havent tried the a700 and Im not curious either. The velour pads are a deal breaker.(which the a700 has too) +overall im VERY satisfied with the ad700+

they are refurbished, which means they got fixed
