ok i think this is in the wrong area but i looked and couldn't figure out where to post it so here we go, well my system seems to auto-under-clock it self at idle and brings itself back to full power under load. i don't understand how this works and if anyone could either explain it or give me a link to the page containing info on this technology that would be awesome! everything in my sig should be up to date so theres my specs. heres what it jumps between, two diff clock settings.

Look in your Bios and turn of C1E and options that seem to be power saving options.
I can't remember the names of them, but they differ between motherboards so just look around a little.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help

EDIT: The reason it does this is to save power, so when you play video games it bumps the clock back to stock, and when you web-surf it lowers the clock a bit.

Unless you want 24/7 speed, it won't make too much of a difference
