So I was thinking, is regular coolant leak UV dye from Kragen or Autozone okay to put in a system. I am currently running 50/50 distilled water/antifreeze with water wetter in it, so I was thinking that auto UV dye would be suffice. Down here in Sacramento it's only 1.79 a bottle, and it seems 10 times brighter than most of the pics I've seen on the forum. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance...

Dye for autos is 1.79 compared to the average 5.99 I see online for computer dye...

You will be fine putting basically anything in a system as long as it:

1: won't plug anything up
2: won't react with what you have in the loop
3: won't corrode your tubing, blocks, or rubber seals.

I figured, but you should see the difference with this dye compared to the common computer based dye, aesthetically...
