Aw darnit... I'm having some trouble removing the AMD stock cooler

I'm at the part where you're supposed to "pry it out", and it's kind of hard doing this... I'm not sure whether to push up or down or what

Flip the handle , push down then away from the hsf , and push and away from the hsf.
