You have to do port fowarding on your router if you have one.

I don't have a router that im aware of, just a normal modem, but on the box it says adsl/adsl-2 modem router. So do i have an actual router?

Check your modem's manual for info on how to use port forwarding.

Sounds like a router with built in modem. If you type 192.168.1.1 into IE/Mozilla should take you to the admin page for the router where you can set up port forwarding.

Generic default username and password should be 'admin' and 'password' or no password.

dont you mean 192.168.0.1 to get to your modem. We can talk about and help you with your modem but not with getting torrents for obvious reasons.

Good point, depends on the brand - my Linksys uses 192.168.1.1
