Thought I'd post a few pics of this case and it's wiring management capabilities.
Almost every one or two weeks I slap together a new build for clients, so I go through quite a few cases, though a lot of them are the Sonata III do to the half decent included PSU.
Recently started to take pictures of them thinking of making a web page to promote my business.
Anyways about the Solano 1000.
I got it for $69.99 after $40 MIR from NCIX. I know I'll get the MIR because of the great CS at NCIX. So no worries there.
From the time when I opened it till I finished the build I enjoyed working with it. More than I can say about the Nine Hundred case, horrible cable management.
I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to cable management and take my time to get it as god as possible. It's kind of mi signature around here. This wasn't an issue with the Solano 1000 at all.
I wish they would have cut a hole for the heatsink back plate but maybe in the next revision Q1 of 2010. Also they are changing it so that if fits larger coolers as per their support. As it stands you can only fit coolers up to 150mm tall.
The fans that it comes with are real quiet and seem to push quite a bit of air. No need to look for replacements. It lacks the intake filters but so do most other cases that are way more expensive.
All in all this is a real nice budget case and would recommend it over the Nine Hundred or Nine Hundred Two without a doubt.

About a week after working on the Solano 1000 I used the Lancool PC-K62 in another and felt a lot more cramped in there for sure. But the PC-K62 quality was definitley better.
There isn't quite as much room behind the mobo tray as there is in the solano but still enough to hide the wires.
The case looks nice just a shame that you can't use any of the better 120mm heatsinks since there too big with the only options either using a 92mm heatsink or 120mm downdraft heatsink besides that its not bad.

You could take off the fan if you really want. There are extremely few cases that have a side fan and allow large heatsinks. However you could buy this 120mm cooler (148mm height):http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...dlist=celebros
It's a good price, looks good with the led, and cools great.
I am finalizing a system using this case. I was shocked how good it was for the money..air flow, space, etc.
And I agree, the case (along with the Zalman 92mm I'm using + 5 HDs and 2 5850s inside) is not that noisy unless the video cards spin way up.
I got it from NewEgg on that special that was discounted with a Azza Solano 1000 + Azza Dynamo PSU then took off 85.00 total in MIRs. Case and PSU only ended up costin me like $90 total after rebates, combo discounts, etc.
For a budget game machine builder, I'd recommend it vs paying $150+ for a big-name case.
I love my case, had it for about a month, and no problems yet. This is my first non-manufacture case (Dell Inspiron 530 & Acer Aspire before) My stock CPU cooler and GPU cooler are both louder than the case fans. There is also a mod to mount the big 230mm on the outside of the case in the exact same spot so that you can put in a bigger CPU cooler. Might search for it.
I have to admit I love this case. Lots of features for a low price. Not the best build quality but still pretty darn good and my thermaltake V1 fits without a problem. I got it for $80 after MIR and free shipping (which is worth about $20 I think).
Slapped another build together using this case again and I'm still impressed by what you get for $69 CA after $25MIR and free shipping
This case along with the Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50 CPU Cooler or the Coolit Systems Eco is a perfect match. The fans push a decent amount of air while the whole system stays very quiet.
I had used a NZXT Sentry 2 Fan Controller with this build but couldn't power the two 230mm big fans lol.
