I'm tired of these horrible plastic pins.

I'm looking at the thermalright vs xigmatek plates. The thermalright is cheaper, does it have adhesive to hold it to the back of the board? Will it play nice with my S1283?

you could always go to the hardware and grab some plexi glass and make one your self for 50cents just make sure its not smaller than 4"x4" and a half hour drilling holes in it and bout 50 more cents on 4 bolts and wing nuts or regular nuts, it worked well in my situation, little money and still wanting a backplate, jsut take the push pins off of the brackets on the Xig by twisting them the opposite direction and puttin the screws in there
