I finally got an IPS panel that is pixel perfect, however I have recently noticed the bottom right corner of my monitor has some backlight bleed. The corner of the monitor is whiter than the rest on a black screen. Is this going to be a common occurrence or is it a defect? I have about 15 days left for a return and of course a 1 year warranty.

While it is possible to find a monitor without backlight bleed, it can prove to be difficult. Even more so at larger sizes. It's just how LCD monitor tech is.

It's avoidable if you are willing to pay for a high end Eizo or Lacie, other wise no.
