Bad chipset?

Alright, Prime95 runs for 13 hours, 46 min, no errors, but CoD2 looks like this...

My only guess is a bad chipset(the 6100 integrated). It's getting RMAed tuesday unless someone can think of anything else.

That has nothing to do with your overclocking nor your chipset. That is a game corruption.
  1. Download & Install CCleaner (http://ccleaner.com)
  2. Uninstall CoD2
  3. Delete your CoD2 Directory (Activision/Call of Duty 2)
  4. Run CCleaner, Both Cleaner & Issues
  5. Restart PC
  6. Install CoD2
That should fix your problem

It's like that for CoD1 and my video files are a bit weird too. You really think it's just game? That would have me shipping fee if it really is just game.

Hrm.. Interesting, it MAY be the chipset, but when you say chipset your really talking abotu videocard, I know that but I'm just saying.

Well, is it forcing DX9? Becuase if so, change it to DirectX 7, and see what happens, thats what I run it on, and I run my CoD2 pretty smooth.

Yeah, I figured "chipset" wasn't the correct word you use there...anyway

I tried to run DX7 at like 640xsomething and it's still choppy. I'm pretty certain it's the mobo, cus other people with this mobo we're getting like 30-40 fps just fine.
Try using a friends Videocard or somthing. See if that fixes anything.
