Bad OC with all 4 ram slots full!!

Bought some new Super Talent DDR2 800 2GB x2, and am trying to OC with them. Found out voltage increase for ram doesn't seem to work with slot 2 & 4!! Simply adding voltages make no difference when I'm using only slot 2 & 4. Since they are new rams, so I put back in the old 800 1GBx2 into slot 2 &4, and the oc is quite bad, nothing like the solid oc with slot 1 & 3!!

My guess is with slot 1 & 3 empty, +voltage has no effect on slot 2 & 4!?

Anyway, oc with just the new rams in slot 2 & 4, I can get them to run @900MHz with their normal voltage. Since I'm not gonna oc too much, FSB 450 seems fair enough, so I put back the old Transcend DDR2 800 1GBx1 into slot 1 & 3, used 450fsb, +0.4v for ram, no good, BSODs!!!

Another thing is when I use memtest x86 on just one set of ram, either with 2x1G or 2x2G, the memory speed is around 4450MB/s at 450fsb. But with all of them together, I only get 2900MB/s!! What's the problem?

Return and get 2x2 Gig sticks of RAM (for a total of 4 gigs of RAM but they'll only take up two slots and may prove more stable with an overclock).
The problem is your memory controller. (Don't worry we all have it.) It's just bandwidth gets eaten up with 4 sticks of memory. But you shouldn't worry anyways. You probably wont' see a difference in speeds at all. It may feel like it but, the mind can do all kinds of things to you.
