bandwidth conversions

i was wondering if someone could check my calculations on these bandwidth conversions

1 megabit = 0.125 megabyte
or
1 megabyte = 8 megabit

8 bit = 1 byte

1024 byte = 1 kilobyte

8192 bits = 1 kilobyte

1024 Bytes = 1 Kilobyte

1024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte

1024 megabytes = 1 gigabyte

10 megabits = 1.25 megabyte

100 megabits = 12.5 megabyte

1 gigabit = 128 megabyte

8 gigabit = 1 gigabyte

1 megabyte/sec = 1 gigabyte/17min

28 megabytes/sec = 1 gigabyte/37sec

High Speed Internet
Download 12 megabit/sec = 1.5 megabyte/sec
Upload 1 Megabit/sec = .125 megabyte/sec

2megapixel = 1600x1200 = 1920000 pixels = 150KB
12800 pixels = 1kb
12800 pixels = 1024 bytes
12.5 pixels = 1 byte
12.5 pixels = 8 bits
1.5 pixels = 1 bit

Google does conversions...
If you want to get really technical... remember that there's human-readable values, like megabyte and gigabyte, and there is binary values, mebibyte (1024 bytes) and gibibyte (1024 MiB), etc..

When your rig boots you will see or 2048 or 4096 or whatever MB of RAM, which is referring to the binary value. We humans just like to make things easy...

Don't forget to factor that into your equations!
