Hi guys,

I think my 3838A Batch Core i7 920 won't provide me with good overclocks, it almost hits 80º under primer 95 (stock speeds/stock cooler/artic S5/Ambient 23ºAprox).

So I'm thinking about changing it for a new one of another batch.

What are your suggestions?

I've been searching the net, It would seem 3835A and 3841A are good batches, what batches do you think are better? Also, what batches do I have to avoid?

I've heard that the older the processor is (weeks) the better, as they use brand new material in the fab. process, is that right?

Do you know when will the D0 revesion be abaliable?

Thnx
in advance guys!

Here is a site that has overclocks based on batch #: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=213105

I have a 3842A and it is a pretty good overclocker (4Ghz on 1.292V load) so maybe you can see if you can get the same batch I have.

I heard that the D stepping is going to be the exact thing as C except the serial number is going to be moved to a different place.
