Im sure I will like COD more than battlefield, which has happened for the past 2 years for me.
but I have been wrong before. Not expecting much from either series so that way I'm not disappointed either way.

i still have not finished cod7 single player... and multi... well getting there i think i am on level 2 now. whoo hoo and no... that is not a typo i am on level 2... i hate it.

I'm not sure how anyone really prefers COD over BF providing they have put 20+ hours into both. COD feels so lacking without vehicles and the epic maps in BFBC2. I got 2nd prestige in black ops and quit. The immersion is just not there with Dx9.

The COD series has, in no other terms, been raped of what gamaing value it once had since COD4 imo. No other game has made me enjoy gaming as much as COD4, that is I hope, until the release of Battlefield 3.
Looks good, Sounds good, I really hope they don't **** it up, which I have every confidence in them not doing.
I love how few releases the BF series have had to produce and still stay in the main competition for COD.

I'm more of a Battlefield person, so I'll be going with Battlefield 3 if I need a shooter.
CoD has always been a bit hit or miss with me. CoD 2 was great fun, Modern Warfare was a lot of fun, and the co-op single player in World at War was alright, although I didn't care for the multiplayer. Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops just seemed like more of the same, so I didn't try them at all. I'm not too into the "game a year" thing, either. A lot of times it feels like we are just getting an update instead of a new game.
In the end, I'm sure they will both be fun, I'm just more into the big maps, tanks, helicopters, and Conquest game mode in Battlefield.
