i only buy from amazon/newegg and SOMETIMES in stores if its cheap

Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 is $179 on amazon and out of stock at newegg (deactivated)

M-audio AV40 is $121 on amazon, $179 on newegg

and @music pc, those are small speakers:) ive got much bigger ones on a desk in my basement... (24 inches..)

Look Im really into audio and Speaker's and know alot about them. I my self had the Logitech Z 2300 and I knew they weren't the best... I then had about $1000 to spend on speakers and finally got what i wanted for years.. However the point is that for under $150 the Z 2300 is a great deal!! You get a high volume and good bass with okay highs and mids for under $150 go with the Z 2300 and work your way up from there.

OP if you are looking for a 5.1 setup I have a set of Logitech G51s I will be selling very soon after I get my M-audios

selling for cheap

Looks shouldn't matter if you're looking for sound quality.

I personally use the Audioengine A2 w/ speaker stands.
