id say the Rosewill RCX-Z775-EX

but with a MIR you can get the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 for $26 and id say it'd be well worth it

yeah, maybe the roswell.
Too bad you don't have over 35 rep... You would be able to post a "Want to buy" ad and see if there are any used ones people want to sell. On the other hand, it doesn't hurt to look at what's posted.
what would be the best out of the two then? the second one down?
the xigmatek is arguebly the second best heatsink in my opinion next to the TRUE or Noctua. So i would go for the Xigmatek
Second on the Xiggy it's $32 USD at newegg right now and slightly more for the Xiggy Dark Night. Both should should perform very well.
If you don't mind paying a higher initial price and still going a bit over budget after rebates

Or if you don't mind going $1.99 over budget and hate rebates

Just to dispel some rumors, assuming everything is lapped:

1. Copper TRUE

2. TRUE

3. IFX-14

4. Vendetta 2

Then Tuniq Tower/ Noctua/ Xigmatek, switching around.

I couldn't agree more...but pertaining to the OP (~25 dollars), I'm going to have to go with the xigmatek s1283

Vendetta 2 = S1283. same HDT design. just different fins..

performance wise, virtually identical.
