im getting a 5770 , and i see 2 versions of the coolers.
one looks like a egg shaped cooler that doesnt go over the whole card.
and the other one looks like the bat mobile, fully covered.
which one is the best cooler?

If you go CF, go batmobile I think. One card spewing heat into your case (Egg cooler does) is no big deal, but I wouldn't want 2 of them to do so. Also cools memory better

SIngle card, go egg. Its quieter and cools gpu better. Barely cools ram though, so you may want to buy ramsinks. (10$)

If you can swing it, buy the hawk. It's the only special edition 5770 that I fully 100% recommend. 180 at newegg last I checked though.

Then go egg cooler. If you want, you can even take the plastic "egg" off, looks way better, and the person who did it (can't remember who) got like 2C better temps too

It's quieter than the batmobile. The only 5770 I know is quieter than the egg is the MSI Hawk. Not sure how much quieter the egg is compared to the batmobile, but I keep mine a bit below 60% for the most part, that's kinda the pint where it goes from barely noticeable to definitely noticable. I can hear mine halfway across the house at 100% if I listen for it, but the v2 is quieter.

Edit: Fixed for clarity
