hi, I was planning on building a new pc soon and I was wondering what would be the best budget cooler (air or aio) on the market for overclocking it. I am planning to overclock it from 4.2 to 4.7 or maybe 5.0. my budget is preferably 20 to 40 dollars but if its really necessary 60 ish is my max.

2 suggestions, one buy a hyper 212evo,Within budget but not sure how much Oc you'll get
2 increase your budget and go for an h50i AOI or equivalent.
Ive had the h100i works great ive spliced mine into a franken thing but it works.

h50i is a bad idea, any dual tower air cooler will outperform it in terms of noise , reliability, and performance.

I would say Scythe Mugen Max or Mugen 5 (including Rev B that has AM4 support) or a Thermalright tower for $40ish is the best option.

Refer to the other thread with all the suggestions in it (there are 4).

Also a h50?!
Still don't know why people buy them other than "I have an epic water cooled machine!".
