Cheaper than mine that I just ordered, but I got a nicer mobo. This is a great deal.
I guess you could compare it 2 newegg @

187.99 MSI Mobo

278.99 Intel i7 920

Microcenter is currently selling i7s for $199, too bad they dont ship em
Since when did BB start selling components?
pretty good deal though

Where were you for the past few years?

More expensive than if you were to get the same parts at Microcenter. I believe it comes to about $385 there.
i think it was online only
bestbuy is cool place to go to as well you can look through all the 920s they have instead of asking and then they bring you one from the back.

What? I've worked at Best Buy for over a year, we have never had an i7 processor in our store or any processor for that matter. This is strictly an online only deal, no Best Buy store physically carries PC components like motherboards and processors.

it's based on marketing districts. your store may not get enough people buying like hard drives or optical drives....something of that sort.

hmmm.......I might just jump on this. thanks for pointing it out OP
This is actually a great deal for best buy at least.

Microcenter is 1.5hrs away from me one way, and best buy is only five minutes.

The extra $15 I'd save at Microcenter would get sucked up in gas halfway there.

edit: newegg reviewers are SO FREAKING AMAZINGLY STUPID!:

Cons: 1. The SATA ports! Why are they pointing AT where the SATA drives are typically located in an ATX case?? Why don't they point up away from the motherboard, where there is known clearance due to the height of even a 1U CPU cooler? I like how MSI even provides a helpful warning not to bend the SATA cables at a 90° angle because of potential data loss: gee, thanks! Why not position the ports in a less dildonic orientation in the future? I had to modify the case to get around this. This idiocy lost the board 2 stars, and has added another item to my list of stupid design flaws to avoid in my next board.

This dipwad moron is talking about the side facing sata connectors, YOU KNOW, THE ONES THAT ALMOST EVERYONE LOVES? The ones that are so well loved and popular that they have become standard on almost any decent mobo? The ones that place the sata cables out of harms way and in a clean orientation to go to the front of the case for the sata drives?

HAY, WHY DO NOT THE SATA CABLESES POINT UPS? SO THAT THEY CANS HITS THE HIGH END GPU'S THAT ARE MOUNTED IN THE THREE PEECEEEYE EXPREESES?

Amazing

Tech Level: high - Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: Wow where do i start, these cards are amazing in every way, shape and form. I just purchased 8 of these for my 2 machines running quad crossfire and was blown away. If you got 4 of these cards running it brings games like crysis to its knees and asks for more. I now run crysis at full max @ 110 FPS smooth as silk, if you got the silver spoon like me then dont hessitate and get 4 without blinking or thinking.
Cons: NONE......................NONE at all, the fastest card and award winner for 2009-2010 hands down and nvidia cant touch these.
Other Thoughts: Current Machine-

Intel-975 @ 4.8 ghz water cooled
4x5970 quad xfire
6x 150gb in raid config
6x 300gb in raid config
4x 2TB storage
6x 4gb 2000mhz memory
2x 1600 watt psu's
antec 1200

I have 2 of these machines currently set up and they destroy everything programmers can throw at it and spit it back out in seconds. Also if you plan on having as many drives as i do even in a full tower, be prepared to do some modding and prepared to water cool entire unit aside from HD,s because it does heat up fast but worth the heat.

Not only is he somehow running 4 of these on some magical board, he managed to cram them along with everything else mentioned(including having extra space for a RAID card, since I have never seen a board that can do all those drives onboard) into an Antec 1200!! Which I have one of by the way, smaller than my HAF 932, so I call shenanigans.
