I was just wondering what everyones opinion on the best video card for under 400$?

Even though CryTek is specifically making this game on 8800's I think the 2900XT is a wise choice, as you get the black box and it beats the 8800GTS's in general, for the same price as the 640.

Also a GTS is probably a wise choice since the game will be optimized for that..

There really is no way to tell what card will max it out. You need to wait.
