Got 4 of my f3s up and running and I need to test if they're healthy/reliable. What would be the best software to use? I know that samsung has their own utility but it's only for floppy and cd boots. My computer right now doesn't have a cd drive... I know, I really need to get one lol.

If you just got them, a simple check with HDTune should be fine.

Examine the SMART data to make sure they're in pristine condition. (Reallocated Sector Count = bad, Pending Sector Count = bad, etc. - if the data column has non-zero values for these, that's bad)

Then run an error scan on each. (You can do them at the same time)

After that, I start using my new drive(s).
