Whats maximum graphics card my PSU can handle?

Ultra LS 600 Watts:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...393&CatId=1483

Form Factor: ATX

Wattage: 600-Watt

Modular Cabling: No

Special Features: Manual 130v & 220v Switching

Fan: 120 mm

Input Voltage: 115 ~ 230

+3.3V: 25 A

+5V: 32 A

+12V 1: 32 A

-12V: 0.6 A

+5VSB: 2 A

Motherboard Connector: 20+4 Pin

4-Pin/8-Pin EPS Connector: 1

6-Pin PCI-Express Connector: 1

4-Pin Floppy Connector: 1

4-Pin Peripheral Connector: 6

SATA Power Connector: 2

I have it at 130v, does switching to 220v make a difference?

4890. GTX285, 9800GX2. Pretty much anything below those.

Edit, Update your video card because it says Nforce750, Unless it has onboard but i have never seen one that did. Unless it support like hybrid sli or something.

Yea, its the name of the onboard graphics. It does have Hybrid SLI.

So, I'll have no power problems running a GTX 275? Cool. Thanks.

+12V 1: 32 A

Anything above a GTS 250 or HD4850 would be pushing it in my book with that weak of a 12v rail.

GTX 275 requirements taken from evga.com:

Requirements
Minimum of a 550 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 40 Amps.)

I dont agree with your post. Those are exagerated over and over again. he should have no problem running a GTX275. If thats the case than my SLi wouldnt work on my 850w.

he has plenty of power for that. I have a 8800GT folding on a machine with a 350w psu with only 16amps going strong.

For more info check this out.

It uses around 364w in an I7 machine. he should be fine

Thank you Lins. Your the man!

Your the man dawg!/lion? What if I upgrade the 9500 to a 940, which im planning on doing, I also plan to OC the 940 to at least 3.6~3.8 If I get lucky. I just bought this PSU a little over a month ago, I can't return it now to get a higher wattage
and I don't want to have PSU's lying around, I still have my 420W somewhere.

That 940 at that speed easily take 200w so you only have 140w left for GPU. Remember, some psu number may be overrated so can't use their number. In your case, it is more safe to use 30a instead of 32a. If you go for 940 and high-end GPU, you need to find a solid 650w psu that can do 50a+ as 12v. For instance, Corsair 650tx can do 52a/624w on 12v. This is better than many generic 800w psus out there.

What If I leave the 940 at stock? or just like 3.1~3.4 GHz? 3.5? lol

The Yuelin built Ultras aren't very good. You will be lucky to get more than 450W out of it. 32A on the 12V is pathetic for a 600W. With that 12V capacity I would consider it a 450W since most of your components are run off the 12V rail. Yuelin isn't exactly known for quality units anyways, I wouldn't want to try to load it any more than that. Since you've got an OCed quad, the most I would try is a gts250 or a 55nm gtx260 (both use ~100-110W).

Oh, and DO NOT flip the voltage selector to 220V unless you want to buy a new PSU.

Maybe I should flip the switch...so I can RMA or something and ask for a not ****ty PSU, I would be willing to pay a little for more a better PSU, if they do that.

I'd call them up and explain that you didn't realize it was such a poor PSU and maybe they'll let you exchange it for something better. You never know.
edit* I see it's been a month, probably too long to return it.

Yea it is, receipt says I have 30 days to return it, It's way past that. Im better off selling this 600W and 420W to some nub (not on here of course) and using that money towards a Corsair.

Besides Corsair, what other PSU's are recommended, with good Amps and bang for buck and ready for my set up?
